Meet Kim Melko, Owner of Plant Theory

Kim Melko has 20 years of experience in the horticulture industry and officially opened Plant Theory Landscaping in 2020 In addition to her horticultural career, Kim is a graphic designer. With an artist’s eye, she designs garden spaces that add beauty to the neighborhoods of Marquette, Michigan.

Residential & Commercial Landscaping

Plant Theory Landscaping manages residential, commercial, vacation, and investment properties in Marquette County, Michigan. We love to do new installations for clients with fresh ideas or clients with new construction. Additionally, we develop grading, drainage and water-capture strategies to prevent water from collecting in the wrong place. We also maintain landscapes, including the yards of historic East Side homes with established landscapes designed by the likes of Frederic Olmstead. These landscapes require thoughtful pull-and-replace projects.
