Job Summary:
Crew members are responsible for maintenance and installation of gardens at clients’ business and residential properties. Ensuring the highest level of quality and customer service is crucial, asking questions whenever necessary. Candidates will use baseline knowledge and skills along with training to make informed decisions and relay info to fellow crew members, Lead Gardeners and Managers.

Essential Job Functions:
● Timely and exceptional verbal and electronic communication pertaining to the job ● Ability to receive and respond to texts and occasional emails
● Take notes, pictures, and records of work done or questionable garden scenarios ● Follow proper protocols for use of equipment necessary to complete jobs, including maintenance and return of equipment
● Ability to perform hands on work such as weeding, pruning, hedging, planting, mulching, watering, raking, and operating a variety of equipment
● Ability to work outdoors during heat, cold, and occasional or intermittent rain ● Ability to crouch to different levels of plant heights; spend majority of day standing, walking or kneeling; crouching and stooping; proper lifting of bags, boxes, wheelbarrows and tools of weights up to 50 lbs; and use of hands to weed and handle various tools ● Maintain proper hydration and nutrition by bringing enough water and food to sustain yourself throughout the day
● Follow proper log sheet procedures when needed, to ensure jobs are tracked properly for accurate billing and payroll
● Follow all company procedures and safety protocol
● Follow order of operations and instructions from supervisors, making the best choice with information gathered
● Ability to remain focused on a particular task until it is done, with appropriate expenditure of time and effort
● Maintain a clean and safe environment, and keep track of personal and company belongings as the crew moves from site to site
